Science is a major proof of the Bible, because it was God who set in motions all scientific laws that govern, not only the spiritual realm, but also the natural Universe. God created all things, and established and upholds all the operating principles of the Cosmos. The Bible has this to says about it:

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ... All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. ... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, ... full of grace and truth." (John 1:1, 3, 14)

"God ... hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high." (Hebrews 1:1-3)

"In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." (Colossians 1:14-17)

THE SUSTAINER & THE UPHELD:

In two of the above verses (Heb. 1:3; Col. 1:17) it says of the Lord Jesus Christ that He is "upholding all things" and "by Him all things consist" meaning that He is controlling the order of the Universe. If He did control the order of the Cosmos it would disintegrate into nothing (cf. Psalm 75:2-3; Rev. 20:11). Where it says that He is "upholding all things" (Heb. 1:3) it means that He is controlling the order and functions of the Universe, and it is "by the word of His power" that He is doing it. Likewise where it uses the word "consist" it has to do with His commanding the Cosmos. Notice also that in both verses it says, "all things" consist and are upheld by Him. God is in control of everything! He is both commanding and allowing. Nothing shocks or gets by Him.

THE DESIGNER & HIS DESIGN:

The Almighty designed and established the Universe perfectly. He placed the Earth 93 million miles from the Sun. Just right so it can sustain life, so it is not to hot and not to cold. He created plants, animals and man to compliment each other. Plants release oxygen into the atmosphere which animals and man need to live. Animals and man breath out carbon dioxide which plants need to live. There is clearly design in the universe. Take man for example: The Word of God says we are "... fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well" (Psalm 139:14). Consider the intricacy of the nervous, circulatory, respiratory, digestive and other systems of the human body. All this is by design. To believe otherwise is tantamount to believing that a car could be produced from an explosion in a junkyard. It is absurd to believe that we came about by evolution! God calls the atheist a fool and says that His Creation is a witness against the unbelieving:

"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." (Psalm 19:1)

"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good." (Psalm 14:1)

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse." (Romans 1:18-20)

TRUE SCIENCE VERSUS SCIENCE FALSELY SO CALLED:

Much of what is passed off as science today is what the Bible calls, "science falsely so called." It's sole purpose is an attempt to deny that there is a God who will hold people accountable for their sin and to justify atheism and their sin so that they can commit every abomination under the sun and try to feel good about it. The passage from Romans 1 above continues:

"Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." (Romans 1:21-32; cf. John 3:17-21)

A distinction must be made between speculations in the realm of science and its clearly proven facts. The hypotheses of science are a necessary starting point, but to pass an hypothesis off for science is folly. The "theory" of evolution, for example, is not even a theory; it an unprovable hypothesis that defies scientific fact, but is passed off as such. It is an hypothesis and an hypothesis is merely speculation, and speculations are like the shifting sands, but the Scriptures have stood true for thousands of years. The Bible has not been shown to contradict so much as one proven fact of science.

True science is demonstrable, observable, pure fact. The speculations of evolution is in no way demonstrable, observable, fact, but it is passed off as such in our public schools and colleges, on TV, in national parks; everywhere you turn it is spoken of as unquestionable fact. The Word of God warns us to avoid these "... profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: which some professing have erred concerning the faith." (1 Timothy 6:20-21)

Many distinguished scientists do not believe in the hypothesis of evolution, but believe in Special Creation as taught in the Bible, and many other honest scientists have abandoned the unscientific fantasy of evolution.

It is a great sin for one to deny, curse or otherwise disrespect his parents; much more so if we lie against the truth towards God Almighty. But it was our sin that killed Him. We all deserve Hell, but He offers us the free pardon of our sins.

SCIENTIFIC FACTS & LAWS OF THE UNIVERSE:

Although the Bible is not a science book; its scientific statements are always correct. God's Word has never been proven wrong and it never will be, for God is always right. In 1861 the French Academy of Science published a list of 51 so-called scientific facts, each of which, allegedly, disproved some statement in the Bible. Not one of those 51 "facts" is held by men of science today.

In olden time they believed that the Earth was flat, but the Bible teaches that it is round. In describing the greatness and majesty of God Isaiah says, "He sitteth above the circle of the earth" (Isaiah 40:22). In Websters 1828 Dictionary "CIRCLE" is defined thusly: "In popular use, the line that comprehends the figure, the plane or surface comprehended, and the whole body or solid matter of a round substance, are denominated a circle; a ring; an orb; the earth." And "SPHERE" is defined as, "An orb or globe of the mundane system. ..." Therefore, "circle" "globe" and "sphere" are all synonymous.

Skeptics are not anxious to quote Job's factually accurate statement which is in contrast with the ideas of the time in which he wrote. Job said, "He stretcheth out the north over the empty space, And hangeth the earth upon nothing." (Job 26:7)
